Trump says US remains committed to 'diplomatic resolution' to Iran nuclear issue

U.S. President Donald Trump announced late Thursday that the U.S. remains "committed to a Diplomatic Resolution to the Iran Nuclear Issue," amid soaring tensions and reports of a possible Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.

"My entire Administration has been directed to negotiate with Iran. They could be a Great Country, but they first must completely give up hopes of obtaining a Nuclear Weapon," Trump wrote on the Truth Social platform.
