Israel says killed Hezbollah militant who emerged from tunnel in Ali al-Taher

The Israeli army said Thursday that it eliminated a Hezbollah operative after he emerged from an underground infrastructure in the Ali al-Taher heights in the Nabatieh district

The Israeli military said the militant exited an opening in an underground infrastructure within the so-called.security zone where Israeli occupying forces operate.

"The operative posed an immediate threat to our forces," the Israeli army claimed.

"Following his detection, the Air Force, acting on the instructions of ground forces, struck and eliminated him in order to remove the threat," it added.

It said Israeli forces "continue their operations in the Ali al-Taher heights area" and "will not allow terrorist operatives to emerge from underground infrastructure or move freely within the heights."
