Jumblat slams 'inexperienced' and 'power-hungry' officials who agreed Israel deal
Druze leader Walid Jumblat on Tuesday stated that "the framework agreement is a unilateral agreement imposed by Israel on a Lebanese faction, inside and outside the country, that has limited experience in law and diplomacy," emphasizing that peace with Israel is impossible.
During a speech at a meeting of the Druze Religious Council, he explained that "this treaty is a 'dictation,' and it makes no mention of an Israeli withdrawal."
"This is what happens when the fate of the country is entrusted to groups with no experience in international politics and whose only concern is power," Jumblat lamented.
Separately, he called on the state, "if it has the resources, to prepare new shelters in the south, even though they have rejected this proposal and continue to do so."
He should stop running his mouth off and join Hezbollah and go liberate the south and march onto Jerusalem.
"..emphasizing that peace with Israel is impossible." Tell that to Egypt and Jordan, who signed peace treaties, got their land back and can focus on building prosperity instead og waging useless wars.
When you negotiate from the position of weakness, you take what you get.
He should do something constructive rather than just sit and criticize the government rather than a certain IRGC military party which made the country weak and brought destruction upon Lebanon for yet another time.

Those that are against the framework agreement must internalize, that the alternative, at least in the long run, must be not some seasefire with no commitments (they insist upon), but more deaths, more war, more displacement and loss of up to 20% of Lebanon.
