Talks between President Joseph Aoun and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio covered several topics, most notably the implementation of the framework agreement with Israel, providing full support to the Lebanese Army, and addressing the Lebanese government's program regarding investments, reconstruction, and the conferences required for this purpose, informed sources said.

The discussions also touched upon the possibility of U.S. investment in the energy, transportation, and telecommunications sectors, among others, and the organization of joint conferences in these fields, the sources told al-Liwaa newspaper in remarks published

The sources added that relations between Lebanon and Syria were on the meeting's agenda, specifically regarding coordination based on the principle of non-interference in each other's internal affairs.

According to the sources, Aoun called for Israeli steps to implement the framework agreement.

Rubio also told Aoun that a Syrian military intervention in Lebanon against Hezbollah is not on the table, the sources added.

Reports circulating in Washington meanwhile said that Aoun will present U.S. President Donald Trump during their meeting on Tuesday with “a proposal for addressing Hezbollah's weapons.”

No one and no proposal is going to disarm the Hizbos.

The only solution is the complete wipeout of the IRGC and cutting off its head in Tehran. Why is this so hard to understand.
