Berri: Framework agreement was born dead and Israel has buried it
Speaker Nabih Berri’s meeting with President Joseph Aoun was to “clarify that Israel has no intention of actually withdrawing from Lebanon, and that Israel's non-compliance will prevent the agreement from being implemented,” visitors of Berri quoted him as saying, according to al-Akhbar newspaper.
In response to a question, Berri said: "The agreement was born dead and no one is talking about it. Israel buried it by failing to implement it."
Berri added that the indicators suggest Israel has no intention of withdrawing before the Israeli elections.
He also expressed his belief that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces a serious risk of being ousted in the elections.
Moreover, Berri mentioned the difficulties facing the U.S. Republican Party in the midterm elections and also suggested that Lebanese Americans in Michigan will vote against any candidate who supports Israel, and that U.S. President Donald Trump “will discover this as well.”

So speaks the Iranian delegate to Lebanon. He'll do anything to carry out the instructions he receives from his Iranian bosses to undermine any possibility of an agreement between Lebanon and Israel.
It is good to know his meeting with President Joseph Aoun was to “clarify that Israel has no intention of actually withdrawing from Lebanon, and that Israel's non-compliance will prevent the agreement from being implemented,”. He knows better than the Israelis.
