US reportedly presses Israel to de-escalate in Lebanon

Washington has informed Israel through intensive contacts of the need to de-escalate in Lebanon, sources told Al-Arabiya on Friday.

“Washington has stressed to the Lebanese side its commitment to the success of negotiations with Israel,” the sources said.

The United States told Israel that it supports the Rome negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, the sources added.
