Issa says Trump 'committed to achieving peace in Lebanon'

U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa announced Tuesday that "the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations are taking place every two or three weeks and are making significant progress and offering a new solution in each round."

"I am optimistic that they will help resolve the issues in Lebanon and the region," Issa added, while emphasizing that U.S. President Donald Trump “loves Lebanon and is committed to achieving peace in Lebanon."
