Lebanese Army says Israeli violations hindering its deployment in south
The Lebanese Army announced Wednesday that Israeli forces are “continuing their attacks and violations of existing agreements and international law, most recently detonating the municipality building in Zawtar al-Sharqiyeh ... in addition to the public school, clinic, kindergarten, and several homes in the town.”
“This confirms the occupation's continued destructive approach aimed at inflicting maximum damage on southern villages and towns and preventing the establishment of stability,” the army said in a statement.
“Meanwhile, the army continues its operations in the south, facing significant difficulties as a result of these attacks, which hinder its full deployment and the return of residents,” the army added.
