House of pro-Hezbollah Sunni MP comes under fire

The house of MP Melhem al-Hujeiri, a member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance bloc, came under gunfire at dawn in the northeastern town of Arsal, media reports said.

Al-Jadeed television said the house was hit by several gunshots that caused damage.

Security forces have since arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators.
