Fadlallah: We will not allow this occupation to remain on our land
MP Hassan Fadlallah of Hezbollah on Thursday emphasized that "the Resistance is committed to confronting the presence of the occupation using all available and feasible means and capabilities.”
“The enemy is currently attempting to impose a new equation to make the cost of liberation hefty and high, aiming to avoid a repeat of the scenarios seen in earlier stages, particularly prior to the year 2000, that’s why it expands its attacks and crimes against civilians upon every confrontation,” Fadlallah said.
“Were it not for a regional deterrent represented in the stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we would see the enemy bombing Dahiyeh and Beirut, but it is held back by the fear of a regional escalation. Despite all this, the Resistance will confront this challenge and offer sacrifices to defend its land and people," the Hezbollah legislator added.
"We will not allow this occupation to remain on our land, regardless of the costs, sacrifices, or challenges involved. While the occupation persisted from 1978 to 2000 -- specifically in the border region -- it will not endure for such a long period again. The time will come when we liberate this land and rebuild it,” Fadlallah promised.
“This is a challenge we can face alongside our brothers in Iran, seeing as we have a political course linked to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this is the only option available to us on the political level," the lawmaker said.
He stated: "As for the political option presented by (Lebanese) authorities, it has brought the South nothing but further crimes committed by the enemy and an expansion of the occupation. After seven rounds of negotiations, they have gained nothing while conceding everything to the enemy and signing whatever was drafted for them; they did not even get the pilot zones.”
Responding to remarks by President Joseph Aoun, Fadlallah said: “We hear various arguments daily, such as 'ending the state of hostility toward Israel' or the notion that 'we tried war and saw its results, so now we must try negotiations.' Yet, the state of hostility toward Israel is deeply rooted in our people and enshrined in legal statutes; it is a matter of fundamental charter principles. No individual -- whether president, official, or government -- has the power to terminate this state of hostility toward Israel."
Fadlallah also charged that "there are elements within the ruling authority who exploit the occupation and Israeli military pressure to achieve their own domestic objectives.”
“There are those who desire the occupation to persist and the enemy to continue its crimes against our people, solely to eliminate the very concept of resistance, sentiments voiced in closed circles and black rooms,” Fadlallah added.
“These individuals are betting on the occupation's survival to defeat our Resistance -- a wager based on mirage and delusion. They will reap nothing but disappointment, especially given that the Resistance is our people --encompassing all the generations that have shaped our history -- and no one will succeed in defeating it," Fadlallah went on to say.
He argued that Iran "is currently engaged in a major confrontation and is shaping a new equation in the region,” noting that “we in Lebanon -- both as a people and a state -- will be the greatest beneficiaries of this equation, for it will chart the course of the future and contribute to liberating our land and halting these Israeli crimes against our country."
I have so much respect for this teenager. He is way beyond his years.
What a clown and Iranian Puppet this nitwit is!!

Poor poor Fadlallah ... publicly and shamelessly displaying that he is limited by what others tell him ... a leader he will never be ... case in point as proof positive: "No individual -- whether president, official, or government -- has the power to terminate this state of hostility toward Israel."
