Lebanon-Israel talks to resume in Florida on October 20, report says
U.S.-sponsored negotiations between Lebanon and Israel are expected to resume in Tampa, Florida, ahead of the upcoming Israeli elections, a local media report said.
The report published Wednesday on MTV claimed that the new round of talks is tentatively scheduled for October 20.
"Discussions in Tampa are expected to focus on military, security, and ground-level arrangements aimed at solidifying the existing ceasefire and finalizing the framework agreement," MTV said.

You have to admire the politicians' capacity to talk & say nothing meaningful. Each one wants to win & declare that they have brow beaten the other side and so it drags on while the people are starving & dying. The USA has become a master of the empty negotiations where they say one thing & do the complete opposite, sometimes with deadly consequences. The world already has an arbiter called the UN, if powerful countries stop abusing & corrupting it the peace benefits could be very tangible.
