Hezbollah promises aid for displaced, slams state's provocations and 'folkloric displays'
Hezbollah's parliamentary bloc has urged the Lebanese government to "fulfill its duties toward the people" and take practical steps to alleviate the impact of the occupation on them.
The bloc accused the state of folkloric displays and provocative statements and vowed that it would soon provide shelter aid to the displaced.
On Wednesday, State Department Spokesman Tommy Pigott dismissed reports that Hezbollah is receiving fresh cash from Iran, describing the militant group as "decimated" and accusing it of attempting to cover up its financial plight through propaganda.
