Report: Hezbollah warned army and security forces against raiding Dahieh depots
President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam have asked the army and security agencies to “prepare for military and security-related operations in Dahieh, Beirut, the Bekaa and the South” targeting Hezbollah, the pro-Hezbollah al-Akhbar newspaper reported on Tuesday.
“Information began leaking about intentions to raid apartments and warehouses in Dahieh. These developments prompted Hezbollah to act quickly, informing security and military authorities that while it understands they are carrying out orders issued by the political leadership, it warned that automatic execution of such directives could lead to an internal confrontation,” the daily said.
Hezbollah “held the executing agencies responsible for any potential outcomes, rather than just the authorities who issued the orders,” it added.
“This message was accompanied by direct and firm warnings stating that party and resistance members would treat any attempt to forcibly enter any facility or arrest a party official as an Israeli aggression, and that the response to it would be equivalent to a response against Israel,” al-Akhbar claimed.
It added that Hezbollah “did not settle for this” but also “took measures on the ground that enabled military and security forces to grasp the dimensions of the message, leading military and security commanders to initiate discussions with relevant officials to find solutions that would prevent a clash.”

Seems perfectly clear what the army and security agencies need to and will be doing next.
