Giant Carrot Found in Akkar
Municipality Chief of Qlaiaat in the northern region of Akkar Ahmed Ibrahim Ahmed showed on Thursday a giant carrot of 130 centimeters long.
State-run National News Agency reported that Ahmed's land on the outskirts of Talmaieyan in Akkar produces irregular sizes of carrots.
Ahmed said that all carrots in his land are more than 60 centimeters long.
“These sizes have no demand in the market, which negatively affected his agriculture,” Barakat Ahmed, the son of head of the municipality, said.

in Lebanon all that poor guy gets is poor written comments by self proclaimed compatriots where as, for example, if this happened in developed country the municipality would make money from throwing a Carrot Day celebration where kids from around the country come and enjoy their day.
