Wiggins Tour de France Return in Doubt

Bradley Wiggins has hinted he may never attempt to win the Tour de France for a second time.

The 2012 champion has withdrawn from this year's race after illness and injury prevented him from training.

Wiggins said on Friday: "I think if I wanted to (compete at the Tour de France again) I could make the sacrifices to do that but to be honest, I don't know if I have it in me to do that.

"There are other things I'm concerned with in my life which I give more time to and there are other things within cycling I want to do,” he added.

Wiggins is in the second week of a six-week training schedule and expects to return to racing at the Tour of Poland on July 27.
