Pope Congratulates al-Rahi on Formation of New Cabinet

W300

Pope Benedict XVI on Saturday congratulated Lebanon on the formation of Premier Najib Miqati’s cabinet and expressed hope that all the countries in the region would live in peace.

Benedict told Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi that he hoped the government would “succeed since Lebanon is facing great challenges whether due to the local economic crisis” or regional events.

“I send my blessings and love to all the Lebanese people and pray that peace would spread in all Middle Eastern countries,” the pope said.

He also told the Maronite patriarch that the region’s Christians should maintain the best of relations with all citizens in their countries based on Christian principles.

Al-Rahi is at the Vatican to attend the meeting of the Reunion of Aid Agencies for the Oriental Churches (ROACO).

Another blessed nail in the coffin of the now-defunct March 14 and Mafia Hariri. God is Great.

The congratulations of his holiness Pope Benedict to his beatitude Patriarch RAHI , or the formation of the new government , are addressed directly and indirectly to GMA and his ministers , as the representaive of the largest Christian bloc at the parliament , and at the government , and also , as the leader of the majority that formed that Cabinet .

Thank you your holiness , thank you your beatitude , long live Lebanon .

When I think that the Christians of March 14 are not happy with this government , and the Pope and our Patriarch are celebrating its formation !! I wonder to witch church these Christians belong !!! to the wahhaby one maybe ..

This time the nail in the coffin of March 14 and Mafia Hariri is blessed as it comes from the Pope himself, with Patriarch Al-Rahi preceding the pope with another blessed nail of his own. Finally, the Lebanese Spring will emerge and become a reality.

Le fini, last week the Pope criticized the Syria government I wonder if he also blessed the nails in Bashar's coffin. Or is it your opinion that the Pope is really pro Salafis and Wahhabis.
